I admire Disney for two reasons: And NO! It is not because of their theme parks… But it is their theme parks! Let me explain: Every time you go to any one of the Disneyland in the world… You see two things: → Rides → People waiting to get on rides The reason behind the rides is Disney’s Creative Strategy with the three perceptual positions (or thought processes). Those of: Dreamer → Realist → Critic Probably known by many and part of the tools I also use in our coaching sessions with business owners. But the reason for the waiting lines is pure brilliance. It is called Disney’s Queues Management System. And it involves designing rides in a way where standing in line would also become a memorable experience for you: → Disney characters parades → Shaking hands → Snapping Photos → A sideshow → Other attractions nearby So what otherwise would be called “overbooking” - that airlines do as a practice… And would be a relative easy task to tackle for an average engineer. At Disney, this is engineered on purpose, in order to keep visitors entertained,  turning waiting lines into an amusement of its own.   Thereby enforcing that Disney is ALL ABOUT AMUSEMENT !
