The Bristal Assisted Living’s Post

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Marc Levine, cherished Chief Photographer of the New York Mets and extended member of The Bristal family. Marc's remarkable talent and kind heart turned countless events at The Bristal into cherished memories. While he was always capturing the special moments of our groundbreaking ceremonies, conferences, and galas, his true passion was evident in how he celebrated our residents. From capturing 72nd anniversary vow renewals to taking surprise baseball portraits for a lifelong Mets fans, Marc consistently went the extra mile to bring joy. He especially enjoyed The Bristal All Stars annual game, where he delighted in photographing players over 80, honoring the spirit of athletes at any age. Marc's art was a bridge, connecting with everyone he met through his kindness and enthusiasm, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. Marc's legacy endures in the countless images and lives he touched with warmth and generosity. Our hearts and thoughts are with Marc's family and friends during this difficult time.

No way I’m very saddened by this news I can’t stop crying. I’ve worked with Marc for 24 years starting at Shea stadium in 2000 the year of the subway series. He was definitely one of a kind I’m going to miss him. Rest in peace my dear friend until we meet again.
