It seems that something is happening in Farringdon... When three separate clients mention, out of the blue, that they’ve been in Farringdon recently and they think it could be a spot to explore for their concept, you have to stop and think for a second about whether a trend is emerging. The arrival of Crossrail has provided property people with lots of conversations about the potential of this area for years. High-rise offices were consented and constructed, and high-profile chefs took up their starting positions (remember Jason Atherton’s Sosharu, anyone?), but with delays to the Elizabeth Line, followed by Covid, Farringdon seemed to be facing a very bleak future, until now... The arrival of Brutto, Bouchon Racine and Restaurant St Barts have made the area a hotspot for foodies, and when you add in the delights of nearby Exmouth Market a few minutes’ walk away, with Quality Chop House, Moro and Morchella (one of onepoint2’s most recent deals, and already winning the hearts of London’s top chefs), this is perhaps one of London’s most exciting corners for dining.
