🌟 A Milestone Moment 🌟 Today, as I step into my new role as Chief Digital Officer, I find myself reflecting on the journey that brought me here. Many friends have kindly wondered and asked me why I am embarking on my third Master's degree, why I wake up at 5 am to study, and why I choose to go for a run after a long day or week. My answer has always been about the power of self-discipline, staying focused on your goals and objectives, and the necessity of stepping out of your comfort zone to achieve anything of significance. Steve Jobs once said, "Stay hungry, stay foolish, and only when you look backwards will you see how you connected the dots. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever." This quote has been a beacon for me, showing me the path of continuous learning and growth. I am grateful to my team, my colleagues, our clients and my family for their ongoing support on this journey. Their faith in me has always been a source of strength and motivation. A special thank you to the Top Management of BBDO Greece and BGM OMD for entrusting me with the opportunity to lead Hearts & Science and BGM OMD into the new era of media - an era marked by digital transformation. 💡 1/2 way through this incredible cMBA course with Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Thoroughly enjoying becoming more educated and invigorated about how 'the work' is created and made to elevate brands and drive business performance through creativity. 💖 Learning how to judge creative with The LIONS cMBA Idea Toolbox | Creative evaluation tools has been truly amazing. My favorite approaches are FCB's 456 scale and AB InBev's Creative Spectrum. Judging previous work and 'acting' like a judge for LIONS categories is a part of our studies. Using these eval tools really helped me judge this week's creative work. New goal: BE a CannesLIONS judge 😎 . The live sessions weekly, with select chief creatives at agencies and brands, have shared so many terrific insights including "how to create brave and bold work". Nancy Crimi-Lamanna I will carry that phrase forward forever! Very happy to have played a very small part in this calling for this to happen, well played B Lab for doing the right thing 👏 I’m a massive advocate for B Corp and a massive advocate for the biggest organisations in (all) industries using the B Impact Assessment ‘tool’ to transform. Yet Havas totally took total liberties here. Having spoken to a number of clients (and employees) of Havas who are rightly shopping about right now - I certainly wouldn’t want to be in their reputational risk or people & culture teams at this moment 👀 And it doesn’t just stop with Havas, network agencies globally are totally under threat. Yes they have size, heritage and media buying power - 🛥️ and can afford a banging boat at Cannes 🛥️ - but if forward leaning clients don’t want to be associated to you because of your client list, and your best talent is jumping ship - surely the best strategic business direction is to take advise from an organisation like Clean Creatives and get your house in order. But what about the stability of employment for existing employees? I can’t imagine the outgoings of a network agencies IT costs, let alone their primo location global offices - but ‘not taking the brief’ doesn’t just protect the agencies reputation - built from hundreds of thousands of hours of brilliant strategic and creative minds collaborating to drive remarkable communications - it also protects the hundreds if not thousands of jobs that will be lost from ‘natural churn’ and clients hitting the eject button. Big news for B Corp, big news for agencies. #Agency #Greenwash #BCorp

Last night at the AMEC Awards, Golin massively overachieved and won major time!   We entered nine awards, were shortlisted for eight …and won 10.   Starting the night off we won silvers for: - Best use of measurement for Internal Communications with Ferrero - Best use of integrated communication measurement/research with Ferrero - Best use of measurement for a single event or campaign with Staples Canada   …and then the Golds came in: - Best use of social media measurement with Staples Canada  - Most effective planning, research and evaluation in consumer communications with ASICS Corporation - Most effective planning, research and evaluation: Europe: with ASICS Corporation - Best use of measurement to improve storytelling with ASICS Corporation   And when the night was at its peak we won large team of the year for the fifth consecutive time! A five-peat! - AMEC Communications, Research and Measurement Team (organisation) of the Year – large: Golin   At this stage, there is a twist in the story. There are two Platinum Grands Prix which judges award across all categories which we won too: Most effective campaign of the year: with ASICS Corporation Research and Measurement Team of the Year: Golin   To paraphrase a Spielberg movie, “We are going need a bigger trophy cabinet!”   I am immensely proud of the amazing Strategists team we have. Last night was recognition of how fantastic they are.
