This is true: this is also why, despite not having studied anything related to Business Administration in university, I’ve been able to make a career in Finance and Insurance (despite being a Literature major). While it’s ideal to land a well-paying and satisfying job in your field of study, the world is a lot more complex than we believe and this is when people who see opportunities for success end up creating incredible careers, even if they weren’t the top of their class. A GPA doesn’t measure your intelligence, what your job will look like, or your skills; although it does help up to a point. What you do and how you got there is actually what defines your success.
