Like Lady Gaga, who famously taped posters of herself outside popular clubs, there’s unique ways to get noticed in your job search. 

⛳️ Share the potential employer’s job posting on LinkedIn, along with a brief description of why you believe in this company and also this job opportunity. (tip from Cheri Bachofer, Forwarding Leaders) Bonus: Look for the recruiter and/or hiring manager for the role. If they posted about it on Linkedin, comment on the role and why you’re a strong fit! 
⛳️ Send a copy of your resume with something clever, funny or interesting—photoshop yourself into a team photo, send your brag book, create a QR code with an introduction video or solving an org problem. (advice from Christie Garcia, Mindful Choice Leadership Academy) ⛳️ Grab coffee chats or informational interviews with employees at the company you want to work for in the same/related departments of the role you applied for. SPOT THE DIFFERENCE I am sure that we have all played this game at some point but what does this have to do with your profile or CV? In a market where supply (candidates) outstrips demand (jobs available) you need to stand out. On the face of it, these images look pretty much the same, but to find the differences you need to look deeper and compare. If I look at your profile and compare it: ❓ What does it say about you? ❓ Is it hard to spot the difference and therefore why I should continue? ❓ Does it clearly show how you stand out? ❓ Would I know what you value and bring to the table? ❓ Are your strengths and success stories evident? If I look at your content, or the posts you like or comment on as a job seeker, what story does it tell me? Are you demonstrating application of knowledge and showcasing how you stay abreast of trends etc. in your space? Spend some time defining your brand and how you will show that.
