IMPACT ALERT! You don't want to miss out on this! It's so easy for us to just focus on daily execution, deliverables, and timelines in the fast-paced world of a growing business. Setting appropriate goals for a fundraiser can be overwhelming. Here are the Top 5 metrics to help you set your goals for 2024. 1. Donor Visits The more prospects and donors you meet in person, the more money you will raise. 2. Solicitations The more specific each solicitation is, the more likely it is to be successful. 3. Dollars Raised This metric is a lag measure. It can take 12 or 18 months to build a relationship with a major donor before making an ask. 4. Pledges Made Many of the larger solicitations you make will result in a multi-year pledge. 5. New Monthly Donors Each monthly donation by itself may seem small and inconsequential, but as they grow in numbers, monthly donations are powerful.
