Amen to this! The following is not a qualifying statement: In my view, once the latest/ current horrors there are ended and prayerfully soonest, of course, a truly objective and exceptionally-thorough multinational inquiry must be commenced. Also in my view, that multinational inquiry should focus on: 1) Uncovering the funding and military supply sources behind Hamas. Most of us reasonably studied on all this already know a few of the answers. 2) How could the widely-agreed most secure and closely-monitored border in the world somehow still allow the horrifically-heinous events to occur last October, when Hamas penetrated that border? 3) How could numerous Israeli citizens report no IDF arrived for between five and seven hours? There are more examples. However these reports, questions and concerns should, in my view, get answered. And responsible parties held to proper account, if/ where applicable. I will not get into any more specifics now. My intent is merely sharing concerns and suggesting what to me feels like a very reasonable, logical path toward helping put to rest any such questions, reports and concerns if they are not correct or proven inaccurate or incomplete. My intent absolutely is to suggest a path toward as objective and *compassionate* an assessment and associated recommendations, in event there were serious mistakes or worse. And again, the world needs to know exactly who has been behind providing the capability for Hamas to be able to wage such terror. That multinational Inquiry should also assess extensive reports that Hamas have systematically used their own civilians as human shields, among even worse abuses. To be clear, if Israeli military or leadership all the way to the top are shown to have made egregious mistakes or worse, they should at minimum lose their jobs. And clearly beyond a certain point if any made missteps beyond honest mistakes that show beyond a reasonable doubt nefarious intent, then they, too need to be held to proper account. Being surrounded by nations with leadership publicly calling for the destruction of your entire nation and people, should also be criminal. Until which time bodies like the UN formally condemn such conduct to include meaningful sanctions and perhaps even arrest warrants for such leaders of those countries doing so, how can anyone expect leaders and others in Israel to not make egregious mistakes or perhaps even worse? The above is another point to consider in context of my earlier use of the word "compassionate". And yes I am also very clear on many missteps and abuses in the past by Israeli leadership called out by other compassionate Israeli leaders. We are all human and make mistakes. There are also some who abuse power and serve their own or other interests adverse to their roles upholding peace, security, fairness and justice on behalf of the citizens and nations they serve; they clearly should be removed from power.

This does not get explored at all in our legacy media. We have seen brainwashed extremists spouting GENOCIDAL hate within Israeli society, from ordinary civilians to government ministers. But more and more we see American, Australian, European supporters of Israel spouting similar extremist hate-filled rhetoric and we have to ask obvious questions. If they have not being radicalised in Israel, this radicalisation is happening in western countries too. So who is doing the radicalising? How is it happening? In Israel, the government, school curriculum, school books, teachers, media even parents help with the indoctrination, as they've also been indoctrinated. Justice is far harsher than vengeance, because vengeance is rooted only in feelings. Justice is rooted in truth, an immovable boulder. Today’s confused world, in its obsession with false equity and meaningless social justice, has forgotten what true justice is. Justice means accountability- that our actions MATTER, that when someone decides to murder someone else, there must be a consequence, or else the divine life and image we each manifest is shown to be expendable, valueless. The west allows people with hatred in their hearts to flood their countries, to flood their streets, out of some perverse idea of “justice” for these “victims.” The west has forgotten true justice, that if someone does wrong, there must be a payment, a kapara (atonement), or our actions and lives lose all value. Bringing justice to those who murdered our families shows that our love for those lost means something. Failing to respond shows a lack of love on our part. This is the map of love the Torah presents. Forgiving those who hurt you is not the right answer until there is also a consequence, a just atonement. That is what will always drive our people.
