Plus-Size Image Consultant? Really?! In a country where fat-phobia is all too common, it's rare to see a plus-size image consultant guiding others on clothing and appearance. Yet, a few years ago, I had my "break the glass ceiling" moment when I was invited to judge the Miss Delhi auditions. Despite not being drawn to the beauty pageant world, I embraced the opportunity to shatter the myth about my big body. Initially, I joined the pageant with a desire for validation, wanting to prove something to myself and the world. Today, I'm more evolved and at peace, realizing that external validation isn't my driving fuel. This experience taught me that true confidence comes from within, and I'm proud to be a part of the movement challenging societal norms and redefining beauty standards. It also made me understand something in depth.
