🌟 Day two highlights from FVL North America 2024 We just wrapped up an exhilarating second day at the Finished Vehicle Logistics North America 2024 conference, followed by a vibrant gala dinner filled with music and great energy! The day kicked off with Paul Roosen from Ford, who shared how extending dealer hours and forming innovative partnerships with carriers are addressing challenges from Mexico to the Pacific Northwest. Lisa Kline from Subaru, new in her role, discussed organisational changes preparing for EVs, emphasising the importance of strong provider partnerships. Anu Goel from Volkswagen Group delivered a compelling presentation on taking a North American region approach, integrating Mexico, Canada, and the US for better visibility and significant changes despite ongoing challenges. Steve Jernigan from Nissan and BMW's Raul Gamboa tackled capacity issues in Mexico, highlighting progress and partnership in ports and rail. The day concluded with Prashant Swadia from GM and key logistics providers discussing how to build long-term, win-win partnerships, focusing on trust, transparency, and flexibility.
