I really appreciate the approach 8090 Industries takes to deep tech investment. With "deep tech" or "hard tech" becoming the sexy new thing in the last eight months, it was incredibly frustrating to me at how many VC firms were positioning themselves as experts in this space, but were in fact NOT equipped to evaluate or underwrite opportunities like mine. Ultimately, I had wasted dozens of calls and have become incredibly frustrated with "deep tech" firms who thought slapping "AI" on any noun classified them as building physical reality. That said, the folks at 8090 are definitely the real deal in this space and they have been incredibly helpful investors. Cheers to them, their continued success, and success to all of us willing into existence the next Industrial Revolution.
