Here’s the economic value one race brought to the city.
1. The race created more than 7,000 jobs for locals who earned more than $50 million in wages.
2. F1 tourists spent 3.6x more than the usual Vegas tourist, spending more $800 million during the F1 weekend.
3. F1 themselves spent more than $80 million on improving public infrastructure in the city.
4. The event generated $77 million in tax revenue, which is more than any other event in the city’s history.
With a total economic impact of $1.5 billion, it was the largest sporting event in Las Vegas history.
