Last month we hosted Tillamook Talks - a TEDx style event where employees come together from across the organization to share stories about how they’ve demonstrated our shared value of Uncompromising Quality. Six speakers shared their stories about how they go the extra mile to achieve the highest quality possible and continuously improve without compromising on our standards, whether it be creating time saving processes, mentoring new employees on a deeper level or giving our fans extra love and care. We are proud of our speakers Kristin Holleran, Joshua Wuhrman, Breanna La Liberte, Paul Abbott, MBA, Zachary Rios, and Daphne Scott for stepping up to the stage, preparing enriching stories with the help of TEDx coach Cathey Armillas, and sharing them with the entire organization in our fourth year of this event. And kudos to Rowena Paz Norman, one of last year’s speakers, for hosting as our emcee!

16.4 million people engaged in the betterment of wellbeing so far | Best Selling Author | Chief Impact Officer at JAAQ | X Future of Wellbeing Leader at Deloitte
Third TEDx practice session complete ✅ What did we learn? - To start with the energy I finish with - needed time to warm up, need to start warm. - The data was thought provoking, but could do with some story/humour interspersed, like in the rest of the talk. - I removed the slides and it flowed MUCH better. - The sections for the secret to wellbeing need to be framed clearer, but the speech was engaging and memorable (we are getting there). - Nearly did it all from memory, few more takes and it will be in there - 20+ different data points and stories commited to memory in order. - Slowed down quite a bit and it was about 15 mins, can slow down more. Big thank you to Niki Woods for lending me her ear. Big love 💜 A couple of slots left if you and your team want to hear my talk ‘what is the secret to wellbeing’? 3 x Slots left: 24th 10-12; 25th 2-3; 26th 9-10 Not long until TEDxShoreditch and I will be ready 👊

An Incredible TEDx Journey 🎉 Since 2018, I've had the privilege of curating TEDx events, and it's been an incredible journey. The lessons I've learned along the way have been substantial and have greatly supported my career success. Throwback to hosting TEDx event: 1. Lesson #1: The Power of Ideas One of the most inspiring takeaways from hosting was the profound impact of ideas. Every speaker shared unique insights, and it reminded me of the power of knowledge-sharing. 2. Lesson #2: The Art of Connection Hosting this event taught me that building meaningful connections with speakers, attendees, and the team is crucial. It's not just about what you learn from the talks, but also the relationships you cultivate. 3. Lesson #3: Joy in Curating The joy I experienced that day was immeasurable. Curating the event, from selecting speakers to planning logistics, was a rewarding experience. I can't wait to bring that joy to our upcoming event in the spring!#TEDx #EventHosting #TEDTalks #Throwback #CareerSuccess https://lnkd.in/gF2jx-R2

Heckin' Heck! My 11th Tedx-iversary zipped on by me! Classic Agerbeck looking forward instead of back. Want to watch? Search 'Shape Your Thinking' on YouTube. Lots of people dream of speaking from a TEDx stage. One thing they don't tell you, is that not all TEDx events are created equal. If you dream of giving a TEDx talk, YOU need to choose the event as much as they choose you. If it is a repeat event, talk to previous speakers about their experience. Better yet, attend. Watch the previous event's videos. Is the quality something you would be proud of? My TEDxWindyCity experience, led by Shannon Downey was the DREAMIEST. Full of thoughtfulness throughout and wonderful production quality all that day and in the videos. “Since age 4 I wanted to connect people!” – Gill Tiney How beautiful is it when meetings start with completely unexpected pearls of truth like this? I had the pleasure to finally meet face to face with the ball of human energy that is Gill Tiney last week. The work Gill is doing further validates to anyone who is paying attention to the Universe, that humankind is in simultaneous multi-faceted paths of divergence and convergence, according to the transigence or intransigence of your personal position, which can either be independently informed, or abdicationally influenced, by the way we receive and filter information, what exactly we choose to consume, and how discerningly we consume it. As proof of Gill’s clarity in her mission, 4 months ago she enhanced the TEDX Maid Marion Way red carpet and, without slides or props, proceeded to wow the audience with the relevance of the questions she asked us all to consider, and the way in which the Collaboration Global audience she founded is proactively addressing many of these questions. During our meeting Gill continued resonating with me in so many ways, including: “Collaboration is where the magic happens. I want to know how we can create, pass it on, and replicate around the world. I love this energy, the vibe of this Collaboration Global community.” Now, imagine the effects of this thinking and way of being applied to all the uncomfortable situations we are witnessing in the world today. Close your eyes and open your heart for a few moments, relax into it and feel what happens to your thinking. The answers are achingly simple. Because deep down we know them already. Coming together as humanity to make them reality is happening in the hearts of millions if not billions of people around the world who are converging, aligning, stepping up, taking action, and molding positive change from a place of love of the world and beings they want to live in and with. Connect with Gill, join the community she started forming at the grand young age of 4, and make the world you want to live in happen. Here’s a link to Gill’s TEDx Talk: the curiously titled: “Our World is a Little Bit Wonky” by Gill Tiney
