The news that Donald Trump was shot and injured at a campaign rally is the latest and greatest shock in a U.S. presidential campaign that has veered ever-further into uncharted territory against the backdrop of a febrile political environment and high-stakes US election. A bleeding, defiant Trump fist-pumped the air as Secret Service Agents rushed him off the stage, an image that is likely to define the campaign and solidify his image as an American folk hero and political martyr to his supporters, rallying his loyal base and enraging others. While Trump’s odds of winning have increased according to PredictIt and Real Clear Politics, we are not yet as convinced as some that his victory is a forgone conclusion. The US political risk temperature is too high and there are too many wild cards to assume linear trend lines. We would like to hear from Trump supporters on the details of his promises to fix the issues facing our nation. The Republican National Committee, the Federalist Society, and the Heritage Foundation should all try to explain to the country how Trump will perform better than President Joe Biden. For the first few years (say, 2016 - 2018) I thought TDS was a relatively mild mental disorder .... but since July 2019 (ie. harmless, routine, phone call impeachment effort being the start of a long list), it's become obvious to me (even though, in hindsight, I should've seen it sooner) that those Democrats with TDS -- which appears to be alot of them -- have simply gone completely insane. Below is 3 minutes and 7 seconds of very recent video evidence to support that notion. PREDICTION (not one I wish to come true ... but having observed how the left thinks and operates, this is a prediction that I conclude is highly likely to occur): -------------------------------------------- If those with TDS (both through their legitimate electoral efforts, and fraudulently) can't stop Trump at the ballot box in 2024, they will either 1) sabotage his Presidency once again (which they did in at least 3 major ways during 2017-2020) ... and/or they will 2) attempt to kill him. Apparently, enough of them are that warped. Sad.
