I recently had the incredible opportunity to tour the reopened and renewed Michigan Central Train Station in Detroit. After 6 years, 3,000 workers, and almost $1B investment, this former relic now stands as a shining symbol of Detroit's renaissance. The transformed Michigan Central will soon house Ford Motor Company EV division, serving as an employment hub for young talent in the vibrant Corktown neighborhood. The building boasts natural light flooding through giant windows, illuminating chandeliers, and enhancing art installations throughout. The restoration effort preserved the original clock, fixtures, marble, granite, and impressive chandeliers, making the building truly gorgeous. If you get the chance, a visit is well worth it to witness this remarkable transformation. A special thanks to Bill Ford, Jr. for his belief in the city and investment in restoring this iconic landmark. Your legacy is now solidified in stone.
