Tonight I'll be speaking at a rural summit in Indiana, this weekend I'll be speaking at a fundraiser in NYC. Both are toward the same end - to spread the message that if we can work together in this country across party lines, across geographical lines, we can start to heal our nation's political divide. For those in-district, please join me tonight at the Scottsburg Y. For those in the NY metro, my constituents and I are grateful for your support.

My father was honored by MLB at a Mets game for his service as a Vietnam Combat Veteran, for his pioneering professional work to build the first homeless shelter for veterans in the US, and for his service running disaster relief after 9/11 for the Salvation Army. So proud of you dad. And thank you to you and all veterans for their service on this Memorial Day.

Tomorrow is my US Congressional Primary in Indiana's 9th District! Thank you to everyone here who's been so supportive over the last months of the campaign. We've been able to put together a movement - not only in Indiana but across the nation - of people who believe civility, cooperation, compromise, compassion, and above all - hard work - are what Congress needs to make progress again. We've brought together people from all parties who are actively part of the campaign and who are showing the world that desire to do good can transcend petty partisan politics.
