The positive self talk point is crucial, your brain can’t understand negativity. Pilots & skiers know this: When you’re skying down a mountain and you have a bunch of trees in front of you… If you constantly tell yourself “don’t hit a tree”, guess what. You will hit a tree. But if you tell yourself instead “focus on the path”, guess what. You will focus on the path. Focus on the DO self talk. Not the DONT one.

Saying yes to more things in your 20s is highly recommended. Doing the opposite in your 30s is too.

Yep, brilliant list! I definitely wasn't doing half of these in my 20s. If I may add an 11th one: Be kind to others and help them when you can!

I'd also add say no to more things!

Love it - although I feel 1 and 6 can be quite contradictory. Avoiding people pleasing involves saying no to more things in my experience. One thing I will always say yes to is an experience that will leave a lasting memory.

Agree with every one of these. I’d also add - invest heavily in self education. It doesn’t even have to mean money-wise, but invest a lot of time into learning and trying new things.

Follow your dreams and don't fall for what society tells you to do. Leave your home, pack your life in two pieces of luggage and a one-way ticket in a country different than yours, your culture and your upbringing. It'll be the best growth you'll ever experience in your life. Those were my 20s.
