President Global Oncology at Takeda

It was a pleasure participating in the Yale Ventures Innovation Summit this week and discussing what drives the rapid advancements in #oncology today. Like my colleagues, Takeda Oncology is always seeking opportunities to advance care for people living with #cancer. Through the power of strategic partnerships, cross-collaboration and our investment in data and technology, we can proudly say that when we welcome innovation from everywhere, we truly mean it. I hope the learnings we shared during our discussion can inspire others to progress their own efforts by pursuing and fostering innovation.   Thank you to my fellow panelists and those who joined us for this insightful conversation! #yaleinnovation23

talking about your cancer, Telling people your cancer and your pregnancy is almost similar.. People's reactions can be surprising and exhausting. People often keep their illness to themselves as there is no guidance to do it: Telling about your cancer give strength by processing what has been happening. Tell others on your own terms and avoid jargon. You always get something back, either their own experience or things they know.
