Latina's lose ground on their way to the C-suite, according to a report released by Lean In. Since November 2022, as I vaulted over the VP step (from a senior program officer position into a C-Suite leadership position), Evelyn (Eva) Montalvo's coaching has been crucial to finding my footing. Change is happening, but not fast enough. The world needs more women leaders. By expediting more women to the helm as CEOs, we can collectively unlock untapped talent, co-create new CEO leadership models, and build a strong network of like-minded peers and allies who will support each other throughout their careers. That's why RRA has created the Artemis Initiative, an exclusive program designed to accelerate the development of women from the world’s most influential organizations into the CEO seat.

Different generations: a wealth of diversity What we often seem to forget, is that having different generations and members of different ages on your team is a form of diversity. As most people know by now, having diversity (provided it is accompanied by inclusion) leads to: - More profit; - Better and more sustainable decisions; - Attracting different customers and tapping into more diverse customer pools; - Increased retention; - More vitality and fewer sick days. Having a multi-generational team, where all members are treated equitable, is proven to also have these positive side effects (and apart of the business case, it is also the right thing to do, of course). However, we oftentimes do not yet see age as a diversity factor - it is a given and we do not necessarily dwell on it. Yet age does influence how you look at the world, how you deal with things and what you find important. I see few generational experts making the link between the dimension of age/generation and diversity yet, but I know that they are intrinsically linked. This is why I am so proud and grateful that the Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations (ECWO) ís really connecting the two and that they have invited me to speak on this coming Friday during their Inclusive Leadership conference.
