Are you ready for the weather this week? ☀️ Tomorrow.io's team of meteorologists have their eyes on notable weather conditions across the U.S. 🌩️ Thunderstorms Across Regions: Ohio Valley & Northeast US: Expect showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday, with the potential for heavy downpours, frequent lightning, and wind gusts between 25-35 mph. High pressure will bring drier conditions from Thursday to Saturday. By Sunday, watch for scattered showers in the Southern Ohio Valley as another system rolls in. Central Rockies to Arizona: Daily afternoon thunderstorms are anticipated, capable of producing wind gusts between 30-40 mph. Southern US: From Georgia and Alabama to East and Central Texas, a series of systems will trigger showers and thunderstorms from Thursday through Sunday, promising a wet end to the week. 💨 Winds: Plains to North Texas: Expect S/SW winds gusting between 35-40 mph into Tuesday morning. Winds will ease briefly but pick back up Tuesday evening, with gusts reaching 27-32 mph across parts of Oklahoma and North Texas. 🌡️ Temperature Trends: Western US: A high-pressure system will maintain hot and dry conditions. Temperatures will soar into the 90s and low 100s across Central and Northern Nevada to Eastern Oregon and Washington state. Southwest US: The mercury will hit highs of 106-115°F in areas like Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Palm Springs. Florida & Southern US: In Florida, expect afternoon temperatures in the low to mid-90s with heat indices often surpassing 105°F due to high humidity.
