Today, we announced an agreement to acquire Edwards Lifesciences’ Critical Care business, a global, innovative industry leader in advanced monitoring solutions with advanced AI algorithms and a robust innovation pipeline. The addition of Critical Care complements BD’s existing technologies and expands our portfolio of smart connected care solutions to improve quality of care, simplify clinician workflows and reduce health care costs. Hemodynamic monitoring and medication management technologies are often used simultaneously in the operating room or intensive care units, creating longer-term opportunities for meaningful innovation and interoperability across the care continuum.   The combination of Critical Care and BD further advances our BD 2025 strategy for long-term growth and value creation. Critical Care’s patient-first mindset and innovative approach align well with BD’s cultural philosophies, and we look forward to welcoming Critical Care’s talented and passionate team to BD after the transaction closes. https://lnkd.in/eskxnXeE

Excellent, this links in nicely with the Alaris pumps portfolio and could enable bundle deals for critical care and hospitals as a whole ( Monitoring, Pumps & SMS ) during tendering processes
