Dubai ranks first globally in FDI in cultural and creative industries: Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Chairperson, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, emphasized Dubai’s ongoing efforts to remain a leading global hub for the creative economy. In the 2023 FDI Index, Dubai was ranked first among 115 cities for attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) into cultural and creative industries (CCI), surpassing cities like London, New York, and Singapore.The ranking is based on the Financial Times’ ‘fDi Markets’ report, which is a key source for Greenfield FDI project data. Dubai’s FDI Achievements in 2023: Dubai attracted 898 FDI projects in CCI, nearly double the previous year’s figure, with a total capital inflow of AED 11.8 billion (a 60% increase).These investments generated approximately 21,563 new jobs, a 74% increase from 2022.
