🎓 Graduating with an Executive MBA! 🎓 It's time to announce the completion of my master’s degree. As I sit back to write about it, I am filled with varied emotions, but happiness rules all of them. As a little girl, who looked up to her aunt who got four degrees, a master's degree was always on my charts but the path was uncertain. Today, as I have earned one more degree, I know the "how". The journey was nothing more than a roller coaster ride for me and I want to take full credit for this achievement but that would be selfish of me. A lot of sacrifices were made by my family, for me, to get me to this position. The unwavering support that my friends have shown during the good times and the bad cannot be forgotten. This degree is not only going to shine on my resume and help me professionally but also aid me on the personal front. This has been an incredible one-and-a-half-year period of growth, learning, and personal development. I am thrilled to share some of the highlights and specializations of my program. The journey started with an assignment to write a report on a business book. I chose the book 'Zero to One' by Peter Thiel & Blake Masters. This unique combination allowed me to bridge the gap between technological prowess and financial acumen. One of our ambitious learners, who works as a data scientist at a big retail firm, got wind of our business literacy course from one of her friends. She had a challenge. She couldn't translate her insights into the language of her business stakeholders. She knew she needed to do something fast if her dream of having a high-flying data science career would become a reality. She found the idea of going to business school unattractive. The tuition is too high. It takes 2 years, and she thought the burden would be too much. Enter our mini-MBA course. After pondering on it, she grudgingly enrolled. Oh boy! She got blown away. Not only can she now communicate effectively with her business stakeholders, her new-found business acumen has unleashed her problem-solving abilities. Word on the street is that she is now the go-to person in her team. The success of your analytics approach hinges on knowing the right questions to answer. Strength in Collaboration: Your peers are an invaluable support system. 🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 I'm thrilled to share that I have successfully earned the SAS® Academic Specialisation in Business Analytics (Post-Graduate) certification, proudly recognised by SAS and the UNSW Business School! 🎓 This certification marks the culmination of my dedicated efforts and successful completion of four key courses during my master's degree at UNSW: 1. Introduction to Business Analytics 2. Information Technology Infrastructure for Business Analytics 3. Business Analytics Methods 4. Social Media and Enterprise 2.0 In addition to these, I also completed the elective course Coding for Business, which further solidified my specialisation in business analytics.
