Influencers Vs Brand Ambassadors
Although there are various strategies that allow us to present the brand in an irresistible way and generate impact, one of the most effective is collaboration with elite figures, strong in prestige and influence.
Under this approach we are presented with two alternatives, which apparently have the same function, increasing the reach, at the same time that they manage to transfer their status and positioning to the brand. These are :
• Brand ambassadors
• And influencers
But what are their main differences and who can provide the brand with true results?
Influencers are in most cases social media celebrities, who, despite having reach, relevance and influence on generation Z, completely lack credibility, impact and prestige. On the other hand, brand ambassadors are prestigious figures who have credibility in their industry, with the opportunity to generate a true impact.
Taking these elements into account, it would be totally sensible to be strategic regarding the objectives that are intended to be achieved with said collaboration. The possibility of integrating the help of influencers would not be shameless, as long as the focus is on causing a stir on social networks or increasing the relevance of the brand in the young segment.
