It is blazing hot out there, here are some tips to keep your truck in the best shape possible: Cooling System: check your coolant level and condition, radiator, hoses and water pump so you don’t overheat. Air Conditioning: you may need to recharge the refrigerant and replace the cabin air filter for best performance. Tires: hot roads can cause underinflated tires to blow. Check your tire pressure often, and check your tread depth and overall condition. Engine Belts and Fluids: inspect belts and hoses for wear, and don’t hesitate to replace if necessary. Top off essential fluids like engine oil, transmission fluid and brake fluid. And maybe most importantly, keep plenty of water on hand for yourself.
