In an ideal world, the process of healing would only encompass feelings of euphoria and bliss as everything magically falls into place with the snap of your fingers. ✨ However, those of us who have gone through healing phases in our lives know that it never happens that way. There are many layers to healing that may involve unfamiliar emotions, discomfort, and a lot of turning inward. Here are some signs you are in the process of healing and growing: 1. You value your time alone 2. You find it easier to respond vs react. 3. Connecting to your voice, intuition, and needs becomes second nature. 4. You prioritize healthy habits and routines that are right for you. 5. You seek quality over quantity in relationships. 6. Self-compassion becomes your second language. 🧩 Knowing how to best care for ourselves can sometimes be a bit of a puzzle. It might seem like we should naturally replace self-doubt with an abundance of confidence in our abilities, but the truth is, it's not always that simple. It's a journey that calls for kindness towards ourselves, patience, and a deep understanding of our inherent strengths and areas for growth. The path to self-confidence can be intricate, filled with both victories and hurdles, but it's a journey that undeniably enriches us in the long run. If you're feeling stuck, save these quick reminders for later. We celebrate the power of movement and breathwork to promote healing and joy. Through the practice of Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release, participants engage in dynamic dance and expressive movements, creating a supportive environment for emotional release and self-discovery. Connection is at the heart of this practice. By tuning into our breath and allowing our bodies to move freely, we reconnect with our authentic selves and the present moment. This connection extends to the community of participants, who support and inspire one another through shared experiences and collective energy. Movement in this context is not just exercise; it's a form of self-expression and a pathway to reconnecting with one's inner self. I love bringing a sense of humor into this healing journey. Seriousness is the biggest disease on the planet. Fun and playfulness is important skill on therapy and trauma healing. It was truly a remarkable experience with such incredible people, each bringing their unique energy to create a perfect vibe. What struck me most was their openness to learning and growing throughout the process. Witnessing such eagerness to explore and evolve is truly inspiring. If you're ready to join a community that embraces growth and connection, I encourage you to follow the link and book your spot now! #biodynamicbreathwork #traumarelease #healingmovement #dancetherapy #breathworkhealing #mindbodyconnection #holisticwellness #emotionalhealing #therapeuticdance #JoyfulHealing

Developing compassion for our younger selves is crucial to our healing process. As a therapist, I've been asked WHY this is important. While it's intuitive that we should integrate parts of ourselves we feel ashamed of or have dissociated from, in order to heal, it can be difficult to explain why that matters or how it helps us heal. However, I believe that acknowledging and accepting these parts of ourselves is necessary for growth and healing. We must learn to hold ourselves with kindness and understanding, even for the parts of ourselves that we may not like. What are your thoughts on this topic? #selfcompassion #healing #therapy
