TRANS YOUTH ARE LOVED 🩷🏳️⚧️ Content warning: suicidal thoughts Joining the #transyouthareloved campaign by sharing a piece of art. This campaign is needed more than ever – with attacks on the rights of trans+ people in the UK and around the world. These attacks harm the lives of trans+ people, and in particular, trans+ youth: Just Like Us in their Growing Up LGBT+ report found that 88% of trans youth are having suicidal thoughts. But there is hope. They also found that pupils whose schools had positive messaging about being LGBT+ also had reduced suicidal thoughts and feelings – regardless of whether they are LGBT+ or not. This is why we need more messages of hope for trans+ youth. Get involved by sharing a short video message, photo, piece of art, sharing the message; Trans Youth Are Loved.
