Identity Crisis Coach for Veterans 🎖️| I help veterans struggling to find their post-service identity rediscover their purpose and live a #missioncritical life | USMC Vet 🪖 | Podcast Host 🎙️
True story: I had a commanding officer once ask me if I was “living the dream.” I replied: ⬇️ “Hell NO, sir! My dream is to be on a yacht in the Mediterranean with a drink in my hand and a pool boy handing me a refill.” I clung to that vision for years. Even a couple of years into my corporate job. Beach. 🏝️ Pina Colada. 🍹 Pool boy. 🛟 In that order. I realize now, that I was asking the wrong question. The question is NOT ❌ “What is the dream?” Or “What do you want?” The real question is ✅ “If you had all of the money, all of the validation, and all of the success in the world, what would you do?” I bet you come up with a VERY different answer. When we start to visualize what we want in our post-service careers, often times we place limitations on our options based on what is Realistic Familiar Within reason 🔑 We don’t realize that we’re putting a tourniquet on all of the possibility and potential out there. We think we’re craving a beach vacation When what we’re really craving is Purpose. Identity. Impact. My question to you is: what comes AFTER the beach vacay? Drop a comment ⬇️ if you’re still figuring it out! ______________________________ 📸: I got my beach vacay, pina colada, AND the cutest pool boy! 😉💍

Reposting this inspiring message from Jeff Henderson about providing meaningful employment and fostering a supportive community. If you share this vision and have a passion for running, consider opening a Fleet Feet franchise. It's a unique opportunity to combine your love of running with owning your own business, providing meaningful employment, and becoming a community leader. Let's talk about Fleet Feet franchise opportunities and how you can make a difference in your community. Let's Go. #FleetFeet #FranchiseOpportunity #Entrepreneurship
Providing meaningful employment for 100+ incredible individuals. It’s a big part of my why. What makes this crew so special is how they step up to support each other, to support our community, and selfishly… me. When life throws a curveball that forces you to take a step back make sure you’ve surrounded yourself with exceptional people. From my amazingly strong and fierce wife, to this crew I wouldn’t choose to do this thing called life with anyone else.

🚪 The Dual Blessings of Life's Doorways 🚪 As we navigate our professional landscapes, it's natural to celebrate each door that swings wide open, beckoning us to step into new opportunities and experiences. Today, however, I want to highlight a less celebrated yet equally significant aspect of our journey: the doors that close. It's easy to be grateful for a clear path forward, but appreciating the firmly shut doors takes a more profound awareness. These are not just endings or denials but powerful signals redirecting us toward paths we might have missed. Closed doors often carry the wisdom of timing, the protection from misaligned opportunities, and the nudge towards self-reflection and growth. They may represent the universe conspiring to save us from a less-than-ideal fit, or they can catalyse change, pushing us to innovate and pursue avenues we've never considered. Let's take a moment to be thankful for those closed doors. They remind us that our journey isn't just about the destination but also the twists, turns, and detours that shape us into the dynamic professionals we are meant to become. Here's to recognising and embracing all the doorways of life — the ones that open, those that revolve, and those that close. 🙌 I encourage you to share your frustrations with closed doors. Do you believe that it will become a blessing in disguise for you? Have you ever thanked a closed door? #gratitude #careerjourney #opportunity #personalgrowth #professionaldevelopment 📽️dailyinspiration_360
