I’m sharing a few reasons why I love the Live Event Industry. Hopefully you enjoy, I want you to succeed. 1. We serve others. Nothing like seeing thousands of people have a great experience. 2. No two days are ever the same. Our jobs change every single day. Always a new challenge. 3. The characters. We are a business full of interesting and creative people. You’ll meet fascinating people along the way, although you do have to expect that a few of them will not be your favorite people lol. 4. We get to give back. Some of the best events we do will not be for profit, they will be opportunities to give back to our communities. 5. We never stop growing. There are always new things to learn. This never ends and I would never want it to end. 6. It’s a grind. At times, but it’s all worth it. Pace yourself. 7. You’ll end up getting exposed to events and people that you would not have in your daily life. Whether you love them, or they are not your cup of tea, you’ll grow. 8. Winning over the jerks. I love loving people who are difficult. Sometimes I happens in one evening at an event, sometimes it takes decades, just keep treating them well. (Often very difficult) 9. Overcoming the obstacles. Stay in the fight and you’ll win in the end, just don’t quit. 10. Music. Sports. Conventions. Food. We have so many great things to love it never ends. Can we find a way to work together?
