Effects of Sea Level Rise Program: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration

The NCCOS Competitive Research Program is pleased to announce its Fiscal Year 2024 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for its Effects of Sea Level Rise (ESLR) Program. The ESLR Program aims to support projects that contribute to a more resilient coast by delivering effective information to guide policy, land management decisions, and infrastructure design that include nature based solution principles when effective. All U.S. states or territories are eligible. Alaska specific priorities are also outlined with the expectation that at least one project will be funded to take place in Western Alaska. The deadline for Letters of Intent is November 13, 2023, and for full applications is January 24, 2024. NCCOS will host an overview and Q&A webinar for potential applicants on October 6, 2023.
