SVP/Managing Director-Head of Fund Finance at Axos Bank

It was an incredible day at the Fund Finance Symposium in Miami that began with the Fund Finance 5k and just culminated for me by sitting on the Regional Bank Crisis Market Update and then listening to Tom Byrne speak on the Regional Bank Crisis Lessons Learned panel. I loved the show of Signature pride we each displayed. We stood up a year later and made sure the passion we had for our business and clients showed out. In the pre-meetings, it was discussed that the idea was to throw it to me first to talk about the end at Signature Bank. I knew there would be a lot of people in the room and perhaps a few old colleagues. Because of that I wanted to make sure that my public comments centered around the fact that we did right by our clients in that period. That we answered every call. Responded to every email. And gave the same high-level of client service that made Signature the $55B Fund Banking behemoth. Hopefully some of the love I had for the institution flowed through as well. It was also one of those moments where you have so much you want to say but you need to keep it on the fairway and be quick. What has been incredible is the reception the Axos team has been getting here. Our promise to become the go-to bank for mid-sized managers continues to resonate as we have booked meetings for the entirety of each day. We are in the relationship business at Axos and our growing roster of clients serving as our advocates has been incredible (cannot wait hit you all with a nice series of Tombstones in March). Oh, big week for Aria. It is the Metropolitan 8 and under Championships and she is going to be swimming eight events which is a big load for someone who recently turned 7. I have not seen the heat sheets yet (and yes I have been checking). My guess is she will be swimming in the “A” final or top seeded heat in at least three events. However, it is the one she has no time yet in that I think she could be most dangerous. She is slotted to compete in the 100 IM. Her back half of that race is already crazy. If she is even close after the backstroke… #fundfinance #privateequity #ffa #privatecredit #tombstoneTuesday #venturecapital #axos
