The flow of development of HCC can be devided into two groups. The first group is characterized by the continuous process with stationary mold or oscillating mold. The second group is characterized by the batch or semi-continuous process. The oscillating mold process in the first group was started by Ukranian Metals Research in USSR in 1964.
