F16 simulator This is the gen4 setup, with it's 180dg visual screen and 3x UHD projector, it is no more than (H,W,L) 2.5x2x2 meters and can be disassembled to fit through a normal door. Fully functionality and build to interface to FalconBMS and DCS. Do you know the Characteristic Basis Function Method (CBFM)? This interesting approach is now implemented in the upcoming Altair Feko2023 version in order to improve performance of Radar Cross Section (RCS) simulations. For full wave MoM and MLFMM solvers, Feko can switch from classical RWG basis functions to characteristic basis functions (CBF). They form a set of geometry-specific macro basis functions using a lower number of unknowns. This saves memory and speeds up the solution of the linear system. The price for the reduction of the problem size is a longer computation time for the calculation of the impedance matrix elements. That is the reason that CBFM is most effective for simulations with many right-hand side excitations, as is the case with monostatic RCS calculations. Here I share some monostatic RCS results (f = 350 MHz) for 4 different types of aircrafts. The radar signature depends on the size and shape of the geometry and on the material parameters. No surprise that the stealth aircraft has the lowest radar signature. Let me talk to you about #ISR #payloads and the people who you should connect with to procure them. Yes, UAS Nexus also integrates these. (Please note that I am omitting the proprietary payloads, as they wouldn't be relevant for this.) Trillium Engineering - the HD45 and 55 are some of the most widely used and proven optics on the planet. Mike Gomez and Jeff Gardner are leading the way in getting these payloads in the hands of the warfighter through #OEM #partnerships . Edge Autonomy - formerly Octopus ISR, they make some of the most capable stuff on the market. Daniel Button is also a great person to work with. AVT Australia - The CM62 is the smallest/lightest payload for its capability and is used on the Quantum-Systems Inc. platforms, among others. It is also the most rugged of the list. Holler at Evert van Schuppen for info. NextVision Stabilized Systems Ltd. - For optical zoom, these guys are kind of dominating the space. The Dragoneye2 and Raptor are some of their most widely used stuff- amazing product, but still pricey and tbh, I am not a fan of the proprietary Trip computers required for operation (they are vestigial ffs), hopefully these can be removed.
