Ara Partners, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of VACUUMSCHMELZE, an advanced magnetic materials producer, from Apollo Global Management, Inc., an investment company. Financial terms were not disclosed. Dalfen Industrial, in a joint venture, has acquired a 1 million-square-foot industrial park in Houston with the help of a $90.6 million acquisition loan. The financing was originated by Affinius Capital, allowing Dalfen Industrial to acquire a top-flight industrial asset in northwest Houston. The property, located on Fairbanks North Houston Road with access to Highway 290 and Beltway 8, features four industrial buildings with 32-foot clear heights and 180- to 185-foot-long truck cohorts. As the demand for high-quality industrial buildings grows in Houston due to the expansion of the Port of Houston, the acquisition provides a compelling opportunity for Dalfen Industrial. This addition will further expand Dalfen's extensive portfolio of last-mile logistics facilities, serving the growing last-mile delivery industry in regional e-commerce.
