Transitioning out of the Armed Forces can feel like you're at a dead end, but it's not. It's just a new beginning. The military can give you a real sense of purpose and belonging, so it's no wonder that leaving can be tough. But just like the saying goes, "When one door closes, another one opens." Here are a few tips for making the most of your transition: Focus on your transferable skills. You've learned a lot in the military, from leadership and teamwork to logistics and problem-solving. These skills are valuable in any civilian job. Get connected with your network. Let your friends, family, and former colleagues know that you're looking for work. They may be able to connect you with opportunities. Don't be afraid to start at the bottom. It may take some time to find your footing in the civilian world. But don't be discouraged. Every job is an opportunity to learn and grow. Remember, you're not alone. There are many organizations that can help veterans with their transition, such as the Royal British Legion and the Career Transition Partnership. So, if you're feeling lost or unsure about what to do next, don't give up. There is a future for you beyond the military. With hard work and determination, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. #veterans #transition #ukarmedforces #careertransition #newbeginnings

And one of the biggest benefits of VLM's - Inventory Control / Accuracy. ROI for these systems is often quick once you are able to tighten down your inventory accuracy. The first time someone comes to you to complain that they can't grab a part off a shelf (typically not logging that take) - it's a great start. Factor in Batch Picking - and your picks per hour sky rocket.

[PDF] The Us Army 1890-1920 Philip Katcher, Jeffrey Burn digsell https://lnkd.in/eZ7yrzEN The years between 1890 and 1920 probably saw more profound changes in the US Army than any other comparable period. In little more than a quarter-century the Army was transformed from a small blue-clad force which fought with single-shot rifles, colours flying, against disturbers of America’s internal peace, into a mighty host of men dressed in dirt-coloured combat uniforms, using automatic weapons, tanks and aircraft against its country’s enemies on fields across the world. These changes reflected – indeed, in many ways spearheaded – the transformation of America herself, from an inward-looking third-class nation into a powerful and confident world … Read More » https://lnkd.in/e2qpkqqJ

Do you know anyone who’s received a Purple Heart (the color that represents bravery)? If so, please go out of your way to thank him/her for today on Purple Heart Day. This is a distinction that means a service member greatly sacrificed themselves, or paid the ultimate price, while in the line of duty. The honor is presented to military members for “any singularly meritorious action” and is the oldest military decoration still presented to service members. Join the Veteran Champion Movement. Be a part of the win! #VanguardVeteran #BeaPartofTheWin #PurpleHeartDay
