The power of #SalesforceMaps is indisputable, with location visualization, live location tracking, and route optimization features designed to support and enhance everything from #fieldservice to #sales operations. But harnessing the power of Salesforce Maps can require an expert POV. Enter Mike Chandler and the final video in his four-part #DeveloperDeepDive series on #SalesforceMaps. In this video, Mike shows you how to use TSSMaps -- our new, freely available open source Apex utility -- to power through distance matrix queries. Check out the demo, then head on over to our Github page for the Apex utility >> https://lnkd.in/gydyUmU9

Guess who's back, back again ... It's TruSummit Solutions' Senior Salesforce Developer Mike Chandler with the third in his four-part demo series on #SalesforceMaps. In this video, Mike demos two strategies for implementing distance and drive time lookups between locations, beginning with the simplest implementation: a real-time, API lookup. Then, Mike moves on to demo a more complicated implementation in which data is saved to a junction object to avoid making repeat requests to the Salesforce Maps API. PLUS! Mike goes under the hood to demo a new, soon-to-be-released open source tool called TSS Maps (stay tuned for more on that!). Since we are less than a month away from #Salesforce #Summer24 release, it may be time for you to start on your journey to build out your main object pages in #DynamicForms, because, like me, you have been waiting since 2018 for them to be available, and useable, and now finally with "blank spaces" we can start to see if they may be useful! So I've created a post of my suggested process to move from Page Layouts to Dynamic Forms on Lightning Record Pages for you main objects. You can convert small objects whenever, but on your main, heavily used objects, you may have some cheese moving questions to deal with from users. So take things slowly, there is no hurry, I know they've been hassling you for this functionality since 2018, so another month or two won't hurt. Here is the post https://lnkd.in/gWYqjf6j There are still some major things missing from Dynamic Forms, especially around Buttons, Custom Links, and inexplicably you still can't use Dynamic Forms in narrow column regions of your Lightning Pages, but there are one or two good things now too. I haven't tested Dynamic Forms on Mobile yet, and there may be more to add to this page, so I may post about this again later too.

Today, I'm sharing a step-by-step guide to unlocking the magic of metadata with getObjectInfo in Lightning Web Components (LWC). I have been implementing this powerful tool in various projects, notching up impressive results along the way. use these import statement to get the correct module imported. import { LightningElement, api, wire, track } from "lwc"; import { getObjectInfo } from "lightning/uiObjectInfoApi"; import ACCOUNT_OBJECT from "@salesforce/schema/Account"; Check corousel for complete code. You can fetch comprehensive metadata about a specific object, offering insights into fields, child relationships, record types, and even the thematic essence of the object. So, why wait? Take action and watch your digital capabilities soar! 💪 Have you tried getObjectInfo in Lightning Web Components? How was your experience? Let's discuss! hashtag #Salesforce #LightningWebComponents #getObjectInfo #MetadataMagic #DigitalTransformation
