Arlette Amula was an insurance manager who dreamed of hosting her own reality dating show. So she shot one herself - and uploaded it onto YouTube. Just 7 months later - she's gotten over 35M longform views on her show "Pop the Balloon Or Find Love" - or over 2M longform views per episode. The set and production quality are nothing fancy. But this is the future of reality television - it's low budget YouTube videos where creators get to experiment in real time with concepts and characters - and if it works, you reach millions and make millions fast. I'm expecting to see more of these. It's a natural fit for YouTube because reality dating shows have always been lower budget than scripted programming. What do you think?
Lol these videos are all over my feed 😂. I love them. Dating shows and reality started off as a low budget idea anyway, so I don't see why the average person can't go out and create their own versions too.
Now you take this right....and replace everyone with their exes 💲💲💲💲💲💲🫰
