Listen to the incredible call that saved a life – thanks to Olivia and Patricia! When Patricia's partner Geraldo suffered a cardiac arrest at home, her daughter Olivia's quick thinking was his lifeline. Olivia called 999, connecting with London Ambulance Service NHS Trust call handler Katie who dispatched an ambulance immediately. Early cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can increase someone’s chances of survival, which can be done by a member of the public before the ambulance service arrives. Geraldo is now back at home and recovering well. He said, 'If it wasn’t for Olivia and Patricia, I wouldn’t be here.'. Knowing CPR can mean the difference between life and death. This #RestartAHeartDay, learn how to perform life-saving CPR. If someone is unconscious and not breathing, call 999 and start CPR straight away. https://lnkd.in/einXnDjg
