LifeProTip #47: Learn new languages quick 🗣️🌎 If you want to learn a new language, figure out - or check online - what the 100 most frequently used words are. Start with those. Those words make up huge chunk of every day speech, and will be a very solid basis. Also, whenever you see a new word - google it, whenever you need a new word because you need to go to a grocery store, hairdresser's/barber's, any type of shop, any type of service etc. - look it up. You'll be surprised how many useful words, that no actual language course will consider in their curriculum, you will learn. #Lifehack #Lifehacking #LPT #LifeProTip #LifeProTips #Languages #Education #EducationMatters

Three simple things teachers can do during the first weeks of school to help them get to know their pupils: 1. Icebreaker activities: Teachers can plan and implement icebreaker activities to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. These activities can include student introductions, fun games, or small group discussions. Icebreakers allow teachers to learn about students' interests, personalities, and build a sense of community among the students. 2. Student surveys or questionnaires: Teachers can distribute short surveys or questionnaires to students to gather information about their learning styles, hobbies, favourite subjects, and goals for the school year usig data management software like TALAXY. This can provide valuable insights into students' individual needs and help teachers personalise their approach to teaching and classroom activities. 3. One-on-one conversations: Teachers can schedule one-on-one conversations with each student to establish a personal connection. These conversations can include asking open-ended questions about students' interests, family, or hobbies. This enables teachers to understand students on a deeper level, identify potential challenges, and establish a positive teacher-student relationship from the beginning. By implementing these simple strategies, teachers can gain insights about their students, create a welcoming classroom environment, and ultimately foster a sense of belonging and success among their pupils. 【👩👦Parental Sharing: Motivating Children to Embrace Thorough Tasks in Learning 】 Encouraging creativity in tweens is fun, but getting them to embrace basic technical tasks can be a challenge!!! 💡 We strive to find interesting ways to make learning fun😜 In a previous project for the “Essential Skills Program” (ESP) for ages 8-12, we focused on enhancing their observation and drawing abilities. Our students were given the task of carefully observing and drawing an ordinary small glue package, while also attaching the real package to the same page. We then challenged others to identify the real package in the artwork. This engaging project turned the thorough task into an enjoyable experience for our students🤩. Their motivation soared as they worked diligently to present their best work. It not only made the task fun but also carried over into other learning experiences💪🏼 Join us in nurturing your tween’s creativity and fueling their learning journey. Let's empower them with #ObservationSkills and inspire their passion for learning🤓 ✅ Limited spots available for the ESP classes: 📲 WhatsApp us to reserve a spot now: 📍http://bit.ly/Text-SYP (Sai Ying Pun & Central) 📍http://bit.ly/Text-TKS (Taikoo Shing) 📍http://bit.ly/Text-KLC (Kowloon City) #ArtStudioFun #InspireCreativity #ArtSkillsDevelopment #parentingtips

Touch typing specialist empowering children & adults to achieve writing confidence by helping them master touch typing. ✍️Dyslexia & SEND 📚DofE Accredited 👩💻Groups & 1:1| Customised Learning|🧑🏽🦽Access to Work
How can you make learning to touch type fun? Let’s face it – if you told your child they were going to learn how to touch type, what would they say? I doubt they would jump up and down with excitement. But what if you explained all the benefits that it could bring them? - Get through their work in half the time - Spend more time on fun stuff rather than homework - Free flow their ideas onto paper rather than struggling to write it down - Keep up with their peers Maybe now they might be keener to learn. Learning something new can be daunting and seem difficult. But doing it with others who are following the same journey can make learning more bearable and even fun. For this reason, I am launching a new Saturday morning touch typing class live on Zoom. We will be working in small groups of no more than 3 students per tutor which will allow us to get to know each other and have fun too. If you are interested in finding out more, please visit our website and click on Saturday Zoom Class.
