Learning about critical thinking, learning that it is OK to have a different opinion even if you can't back it up, learning that you can agree to disagree and still be friends are healthy. Learning that it is verbal violence when someone disagrees with you and learning to retreat to your Safe Space to avoid conflicts leads to infantilization and emotional immaturity. This makes you the victim.    Being able to adhere to a religion demonstrates integrity, requiring everyone else to adhere to your religious beliefs infantilizes you and your religion just as pushing the infantile belief that adhering to one's belief is the cause of "far more problems than without (adhering to) it". In Politics and Religion, good ideas don't require forced adherence. Listen to the entire argument, then respond. Today is a day, just like any other. Except that it's not. But, it actually is. Then again, it's really not. Do, what?? Today is what YOU make it to be. It can ABSOLUTELY be just another day. It can totally be just another TGIF. It truly can be just a regular, insignificant, passive, check-in and check-out, working for the weekend, kind of day. BUT... It doesn't have to be. It. Is. Up. To. You. What IS today going to be?? Think about this... Every single massively significant thing that has happened throughout human history has happened on just a regular day. From the grand perspective of the cosmos, it was just another insignificant day. BUT, someone CHOSE to MAKE it significant. And, the rest is history. Today, THIS day, surely will have some life-altering, game-changing, significant things that go down. And, years later, folks will look back to May 31st, 2024, as THE DAY, that such-and-such happened, and changed so-and-so's lives forever. So, what are YOU doing with today?? I can't wait to hear about it.
