✍🏾 One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in a 20-year career is: Change is expensive unless you change how you change. At some point in our careers, we’ve seen millions of pounds wasted on failed programmes. We’ve seen an over-reliance on external expertise without enhancing internal capabilities. We’ve seen how emotional and psychological barriers can hinder transformative investment leading to benefit failure. For many organisations, this is the status quo. Efforts to change this often result in a round trip to zero. Why? Because adding green colouring to brown leaves won’t fix the tree. You have to get to the root of the problem. It’s this thinking that compelled Andrew and I to create a new and genuine solution to the deeper problems.
