Very Insightful and impactful for Product based companies.

I'm not a product person, but I can say that Jetbrains' AI Assistant is suffering from a terrible rollout. Their plugin is enabled by default, and they claim to be entirely local only and have specific conditions for relay. However, users cannot uninstall the plugin, and it re-enables regardless of configuration after update. I have never seen such bad faith configuration of a new feature. At least, not since some of the more infamous user telemetry features in a few choice customer-facing apps. Which leads me to ask: do companies view generative language model features as yet another trojan horse for scraping more usage data from customers?
