"Respect other people's Time" I get connection requests from unknown people with message requests "Hi Shubham, I am actively looking for a job switch I have just seen that Oracle is hiring for job ID XXXXXX, It would be great if you could refer me for this role". The First thought comes to my mind, why should I accept the connection request? why should I refer them? I don't even know them. But I accept the connection request and acknowledge them for referral, and when I go to the referral portal, and enter the details I get this error "This candidate already applied to this role". I don't get why people ask for a referral when they already applied for the role. The other person who doesn't even know you is taking out time for you and helping you then have some patience and value their time. If you are requesting a referral, please wait for another person's response. I agree some people don't even reply and takes days to acknowledge your ping, in that case, go ahead and apply by yourself. But asking for a referral when you already applied for the job or lack patience is unacceptable...!! #referrals #hiring #opentowork

There are many potentials in using LLM to improve your productivity, but writing is not one of them! We are #hiring at DataChef (more info https://lnkd.in/eA4eiN6u) and many applications I review are #LLM generated these days. The keyword is “Spearheaded”! It's just everywhere. The sad thing is people don't even bother themselves to review the text, before sending it. These are not good signs for people who want to hire you. PS: not all companies use ATS to review resumes. At least not those who try to build a team able to make value.
