Just finished the course “Improving Your Leadership Communications” by Madecraft and Colleen Hauk! Be Visible, Interact with your team members regularly & formally in an open environment. 2.Walk the talk. 3.Ask questions, Engage in conversation, listen with regard, know people as an individual. 4. Assess your stress signal, Schedule your mental health , Practice your empathy & Explain your decisions. 5. Halo effect (visual communication)- a)Evaluate your appearance - You should be Well groomed, shoes should be neat and clean b)Strengthen your physicality-Stand firmly with head up, Neck extended. c) Must have proper eye contact with the person you are interacting. 6.Share a personal story with someone to start building the trust with him. Don't give advice right away. 7. Inspire frequently and Motivate occasionally. 8. Ask empowering questions, limit your advice to help individual gain confidence and make them independent in the future. 9. Provide information on time and provide as much as you can and do listen properly. 10. Organisation of Meeting with team members- Pre- meeting, Meeting and Post meeting. First pre-meeting Planning- Meeting goals & outcome, how long meeting to be conducted, who should attend,include both agenda and goals in the meeting invitation and send to the appropriate people Meeting- Complete meeting on time, Make eye contact with everyone,Create action plan and assign next steps Post-meeting- Send the agreed upon action plan with deadlines and next step. #leadershipcommunications #leadershipexcellence #communicationskills #teambuilding
