Our sixth General Body Meeting of this semester was an Industry Panel featuring incredible leaders from various sectors including IT, Consulting, and Defense. Our members learned unique and invaluable insights about different career paths, and how no career journey is the same. A big shoutout and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Joel Davis, Dave Lucas, and David Pitti Williams, MBA for sharing their remarkable experiences and providing us with thoughtful advice. Your contributions made this GBM an absolute standout moment of the semester! 🎉 🚀 Here's to continued learning, growth, and inspiration as we chart our own paths.

Founder & CEO, BusinessOutside® | Author | Facilitator | Executive Coach | YPO Board Member | Speaker
Knowing what you know now, what would you tell a group of 20 year old students? I posed this question to a Forum group of C-level executives in their 50s. Here is what they said, -Learning is not over. It’s just beginning -Find your passion -Don’t listen to the naysayer -Decisions you are about to make they are not as critical as you think -Be flexible and be prepared to pivot -Find your calling as early as you can in your career -Invest in yourself. Put yourself first. -You can do anything -Don’t lose connection with yourself -Nothing is pre-destined -Be engaged in your country What else?
We had an amazing time meeting the of Author, CEO and Executive Coach Bart Foster! We all learned a lot about who we want to be as people and what we want to do with our careers. KTP and I thank you for taking the time to come speak with us.

I participated in the Career Timeline challenge organised by James Compton last week, which allowed me to comprehensively evaluate my career and gain insight into my motivations. Initially, I had the opportunity to connect with fellow Business analysts who shared similar interests and perspectives from various parts of the globe. This experience prompted me to contemplate my career accomplishments and the significant influence my past experiences have had on shaping my present self. Some key takeaways for me - 1. Failure is a part of success. It is a stepping stone and not a stumbling roadblock. 2. Focus on what you can control and make measurable progress. 3. Be Grateful for where you are at - Most of the time you forget that these were the things that you once prayed for. 4. Perspective is a matter of choice - Life will always have its ups and downs. 5. Think Big and Do your best - Life is short to be self-imposed with fears and limitations. I want to express my gratitude to James Compton for both helping me recognize and providing support throughout this journey.
