Thought Partner for Entrepreneurs and Professionals seeking clarity on their next career move. On the flip side, helping employers create more inclusive workplaces. Let's book a virtual chat!
RARE in-person speaking event coming up! About 15 years ago, a woman I worked with made compelling arguments about why attending International Women's Day (IWD) events was so important; which is a story for another day... Since then I've made a point of being present for at least one IWD each year. This year, I'm honoured to be one of the speakers at the Town of Gananoque's "Empowering Women in a DigitALL Age" IWD event. I'll be sharing success stories of women entrepreneurs who live and work in Canada. Because when you experience stories of people you can relate to, then you can imagine navigating your own path to success. The vast majority of my speaking gigs are delivered online, and limited to specific groups of people. While I rarely speak in public, I thoroughly enjoy the experience! Especially when people ask questions. I'm looking forward to returning to the beautiful and welcoming town of Gananoque, to share some of what I know, while learning from the fabulous speakers and guests. The Eventbrite link for this free 3.5 hour event will be in the comments! ------------------- A bit about me - I share tactics and strategies employers may choose to implement to create more IDEAL jobs. On the flip side, I love helping you create and discover your ideal jobs, by teaching strategies and tactics that you can use over, and over, and over, again. I invite you to start a Thought Partner chat, follow the link in my profile to book a virtual 30 minute chat or send me a direct message here. #ShareLearnThrive – when we share what we know, and learn from each other, we can all find ways to thrive.

👷♀️Women in Construction Week👷♀️celebrates the contributions and achievements of women in the construction industry, highlighting their vital roles in shaping infrastructure and communities. 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬: The history of Women in Construction Week is intertwined with the origins of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). Founded in 1953 as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, by 16 women in the industry, it aimed to support women in construction. Evolving into NAWIC, the association now boasts 115 chapters nationwide, offering education, support, and networking opportunities for women in construction. Women in Construction Week, established in 1960, celebrates the contributions of women in the field and promotes awareness and inclusivity. Document The Abuse is such an important resource. Everyone should understand what an #EAA is and share it with everyone they know. The Evidentiary Abuse Affidavit (EAA) combines video taping (of a victim's actual words attesting to abuse) and creatives witnessed and notarized legal documents that successfully satisfy the legal hurdles often faced in abuse cases. https://lnkd.in/e7YVr7fU
I am grateful for each opportunity to raise awareness for Document The Abuse and #EAA. Thank you to all who have shared the resource and supported our mission. Special thanks to Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley and Aurora Women's Empowerment Foundation for their consistent support along with so many other local organizations. It is this support that has allowed us to make the progress that we have and we look forward to our continued endeavors in getting this resource to all it can serve. #Theworkgoeson #doingtheworkIlove #gratitude #domesticviolenceprevention #Every1KnowsSome1 #evidentiaryabuseaffidavit #17yearsgone
