When recommending a dietary change for your patient, the diet needs to be: 1. sustainable 2. implementable By definition, sustainable means able to be maintained. So start with small achievable changes. Implementable means able to be put into practice or simply said doable. Does it fit within the patients lifestyle and preferences? Don’t make drastic changes to their diet. Make success easy for your patient. They'll become less frustrated if it feels like something they can achieve. ==== 🍎If this was useful, consider signing up for my to-the-point newsletter that simplifies nutrition for busy medical professionals here: https://lnkd.in/eepHV7eX
