👏 Congratulations to Ursula von der Leyen on another term as President of the European Commission. Europe needs strong leadership in a turbulent world. Important part of her new political guidelines is the European Democracy Shield initiative. Von der Leyen launched it in a speech at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit in May, where Anders Fogh Rasmussen and myself were delighted to host her. Von der Leyen highlighted three key focus points: ▶Detection: Strengthen free media and public expertise to identify and understand threats ▶ Treatment: Ensuring speedy removal and blocking of malign information and propaganda ▶ Resilience: Building societal immunity against information manipulation as technology evolves. “By staying united, Europe has demonstrated greater strength and resilience than ever before. 🇺🇦💼🇮🇹 Management Board of the ECA Ukraine completed a training with colleagues from #Italy. 📚🤝 From October 17 to October 19, 2023, the management board of the Export Credit Agency participated in an online training organized by SACE - the Italian Export Credit Agency. 💼✨ The training program included familiarization with international regulatory frameworks, the work of international associations in the field of export support, pricing, OECD - OCDE recommendations, climate initiatives, SACE products, and reinsurance arrangements between export credit agencies. 👩💼💡"We are extremely grateful to SACE for responding to our request for training. Over the past year and a half, ECA #Ukraine has undergone an extensive period of development: we have actively developed products, processes, and built our team. Therefore, this training is more relevant than ever - we not only gained a lot of new information on the gold standard of export credit agency work but also systematized the knowledge we have previously acquired," said Oksana Ocheretiana, a Deputy Chairman Of The Management Board in ECA Ukraine.
