This year, I have embarked on a journey of self-improvement, cycling more than four times a week and staying active in the gym to boost my health and support cancer prevention. Cancer has profoundly impacted my life, with loved ones both passing away and successfully battling this disease. In their honor, I ride to raise funds for groundbreaking cancer research. Pelotonia directs 100% of participant-raised dollars to advance cancer prevention, early detection, and the development of less toxic therapies. My goals are to: 1) Promote Pelotonia within my community and inspire others to participate. 2) Achieve my $1,250 fundraising target through targeted outreach on social media and email. 3) Cycle weekly, reflecting on the courage and resilience of those affected by cancer.
