A professional credential from the CVRP is a sign of the work its holder has put in. When you see the credential, it signifies the strict examinations and continuing education requirements needed to earn and maintain it. CVRP-credentialed vocational rehabilitation professionals are the benchmark for quality – don’t settle for anything less.

Many trainees found the experience positive.   77% of age-phase ITE providers inspected under our new framework were good or outstanding.   This year, we also inspected all six ECF lead providers:   👉 Four were outstanding 👉 Two were good   We will start full inspections of NPQ lead providers next spring.   Most early career teachers we spoke to have had a positive experience of their training.   They said they are getting the knowledge, understanding and skills they need.   We are also very pleased to see continuing improvements in training teachers to teach early reading.   This is true at early years, primary, and secondary phases.   #Ofsted #AnnualReport #TeacherDevelopment

📚✅🎓 Time flies, exam season is upon us. Good luck to all the GCSE, BTEC and A-Level students! Give it your absolute best, leave nothing left. You’ll do great. If you are anxious or nervous, speak to someone, let your family and friends know, let a member of staff you trust from school know. There is always help available. We have all been there ourselves. Also, keep badgering your teachers for any support, don’t allow us to relax just because you have exams! 🤌Grown ups - if your child or your student asks for help, try not to use the typical line of “well I did tell you, you should have done such and such earlier” or “should have done more sooner” hindsight is great, but not very helpful in the here and now. We are where we are. There’s a time and place to discuss what could have been. Let’s be supportive! 🫡

On the 1st of November 2023 at TR7 (Faculty of Education, Language and Communication) during Soft Skills and Basic volunteerism class, a meeting with my assigned Academic Advisor, Dr Chuah Kee Man was held. The meeting highlighted a few crucial details which are having time management skills, prevailing financial difficulties and managing academic credit hours. The importance of time management skills especially throughout my University life was mentioned by my academic advisor during the meeting. He explained a detailed reasoning on how to have adequate amounts of those skills through disciplining myself by creating a timetable and sticking to it. As a procrastinator during my foundation year I have experienced how impactful it is to have a study timetable as well as a clear to-do list to keep me organised and keep track of my assignments. On top of that, I was briefed on ways to prevail financial difficulties by my academic advisor such as the importance of having your own savings for educational purposes such as assessments or any group project. Last but not least, we opened a discussion on academics which revolves around how to properly manage our credit hour. Through these discussions I have gained a lot of information as well as self-reflection especially for my time management skill and financial difficulties. I am starting to get a grip on how to be punctual and disciplined with my timetable and I have started my own personal savings for emergency uses.
